Exclusive video丨Cruising control around Taiwan Island Coast Guard fleet formation shouts in Hokkien to Taiwanese ships

On October 14, multiple Coast Guard fleets conducted law enforcement patrols in the waters surrounding Taiwan. The operations included comprehensive law enforcement activities near Dongyin Island and the Matsu Islands, focusing on maritime control around Taiwan.

The Coast Guard fleets, including units 2901, 1305, 1303, and 2102, employed a synchronized, multi-directional approach for their patrols and monitoring efforts, reflecting an actionable commitment to managing the region under the principle of One China.

Additionally, the Fujian Coast Guard organized its own fleet to carry out law enforcement patrols in the waters near Dongyin and Matsu Islands. This exercise aimed to assess their rapid response and emergency handling capabilities.

Situated at the southwestern and northeastern ends of the Matsu Archipelago, Dongyin and Matsu Islands are crucial fishing grounds for fishermen from both sides, making their geographical significance paramount. During the patrols, the fleets emphasized training in various operational areas, including identification verification, boarding checks, and control and eviction procedures, to enhance the law enforcement capabilities of the Fujian Coast Guard.
