Big explosion at Chechnya oil station caused earthquake, killing 4 and injuring 5. Footage of fireball shooting into the sky was revealed

On October 12, a major explosion occurred at a gas station in Grozny, Chechnya, claiming the lives of four individuals, including two children, and leaving five others injured, according to reports from the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations. The explosive force was so powerful that it reportedly registered as an earthquake and sent a massive fireball into the air. Disturbing footage of the incident quickly surfaced on social media.

Located approximately 1,300 kilometers from Moscow, the scene was chaotic as videos shared on X (formerly Twitter) captured the moment the blast erupted. A loud explosion was heard, followed by a massive fireball engulfing the area and dense smoke rising into the sky. Eyewitnesses described seeing a flaming fuel tank tear away from the gas station, rolling along the ground for about 304 meters before another explosion rocked the location, producing more billowing smoke.

Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov commented on the situation via Telegram, stating that the situation was now under control and that those responsible for the incident would be brought to justice.
