In the first nine months of this year, the Ningxia Administrative Procuratorate handled 112 corporate-related cases.

During a recent press conference on October 16, the Ningxia prosecutorial office presented their initiatives under the theme “Administrative Prosecution and the Public: Supporting the Construction of a Law-based Ningxia.” According to the report, from January to September of this year, the administrative prosecution department in Ningxia handled a total of 112 cases related to enterprises and issued 96 prosecutorial recommendations, all aimed at fostering a favorable business environment through the power of the law.

An official from the department explained that they have shifted from a traditional reactive approach to actively addressing administrative cases involving businesses. By reviewing effective judgments and execution cases, they are not only supervising the legal proceedings but also paying close attention to the real difficulties faced by companies. The department has been proactive in reaching out to administrative agencies and courts to assist businesses in distress, helping to guide them out of challenging situations. They also emphasized the supervision of social credit measures during administrative enforcement, ensuring that penalties are appropriate and lifted promptly once a case is resolved, thereby allowing businesses to resume normal operations as quickly as possible. Additionally, they are working to substantively resolve administrative disputes affecting businesses through multiple channels.

Moreover, the Ningxia administrative prosecution department has focused on pressing issues such as traffic safety, marriage registration, social insurance, and housing and construction. They have tackled 1,256 cases related to people’s livelihoods from January to September, ensuring the protection of citizens’ lawful rights and interests through their “Protecting Livelihoods” initiative.

Notably, the department has leveraged a “government-prosecution synergy” mechanism, enhancing collaboration through big data oversight. This includes consistent communication with administrative entities regarding the transfer of leads, data sharing, and social governance. They are gradually expanding their data-sharing channels with departments such as public security, justice, and human resources, utilizing big data to bolster their administrative prosecution capabilities and improve the governance levels of administrative agencies.
