On October 19, 2023, the 2024 China Zhuzhou Advanced Hard Materials and Tools International Exposition officially kicked off, alongside the Central China (Zhuzhou) Industrial Exhibition.

Spanning over 40,000 square meters with more than 680 booths, this year’s expo has expanded by 30% compared to its inaugural event, featuring over 460 participating companies—setting a new historical record. Industry leaders such as Zhuhai Hard Group, Zhuzhou Diamond, Okaiyi, Zhuzhou Precision, HMT Machine Tools, and Beider Tools showcased cutting-edge products and advanced technologies. Multiple product launch events were also held, presenting the latest innovations in hard materials and tooling equipment.

Notably, over 300 manufacturers of carbide cutting tools constituted more than 75% of the exhibitors, showcasing a wide array of products including CNC tools, carbide equipment, and superhard materials, effectively covering the entire supply chain of the hard materials and tools industry.

To facilitate meaningful connections between buyers and suppliers within the carbide sector, the organizers arranged several matchmaking sessions. More than 150 domestic and international industry representatives participated, culminating in strategic partnership signings between foreign purchasing groups and exhibiting companies.

Zhuzhou holds a remarkable 41% share of the national carbide production market, boasting the largest and most powerful advanced hard materials industrial cluster in the country. The city’s carbide industry cluster is projected to achieve total operating revenues of 57.5 billion yuan in 2023, reflecting a year-on-year growth rate of 2.5%, with its market share exceeding 40%.

The exposition will run for four days, with expectations to attract over 20,000 professional visitors and to generate transaction and intention orders exceeding 400 million yuan.
