Adhering to the integrated development of sports and education, the -Beijing·Yanqing Youth Sports and Education Integration Conference- was held

The “Beijing Youth Sports and Education Integration Conference,” jointly hosted by Beijing Yanlong Development Co., Ltd. and Beijing Zhongguancun Yanqing Park Investment Development Co., Ltd., recently took place in Beijing.

The conference consisted of three parts: the National Cheerleading League (Beijing Station), the National Youth Sports Club Integration Development Conference, and an exhibition showcasing intelligent sports equipment and services.

Shifenghua, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Sports Bureau, emphasized that promoting the integration of sports and education is a crucial step towards the platform-based development of sports events. He noted that this approach is essential for nurturing the vitality of sporting events. He mentioned that the Sports Bureau is implementing the decisions of the municipal government, centering its efforts around events to build a “1 Ring + 4 Districts + N Scenarios” event system, thereby accelerating the development of Beijing as an international hub for major sporting events.

Liuxianxun, Director of the Yanqing District Sports Bureau, introduced that Yanqing is pioneering a model for sports and education integration by establishing a district ice and snow sports team based on its specialty schools. This initiative is gradually laying the groundwork for a rational project distribution, improved training standards, and the emergence of competitive strengths, all aimed at cultivating a strong reserve of talent in ice and snow sports.

Zhu Ying, President of the Youth Sports Federation’s subdivision, stated that they will continue to maintain close ties with sports administrative departments and youth sports clubs. Their goal is to provide systematic guidance and services to clubs, ultimately building the largest service platform for youth sports clubs nationwide.

In a keynote address titled “Incorporating Education into Sailing is a Great Choice,” Liu Weidong, Vice President of the China Sailing Association, discussed the promotion of sailing, the educational benefits it offers, and its potential to uncover and nurture future leaders in China.

Zhou Zhenqun, a distinguished teacher at Shangdi Experimental School in Haidian District, pointed out that effectively combining school sports with specialized training not only enhances students’ physical capabilities and skills but also fosters their team spirit, competitive mindset, and resilience under pressure.
