On October 20th, just two weeks before the U.S. presidential election, former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate, made a campaign stop in swing state Pennsylvania. At the same time, Democratic candidate and current Vice President Kamala Harris was busy courting voters in another swing state, Georgia.
In a unique move, Trump took to the streets in the suburbs of Philadelphia, where he worked at a McDonald’s, frying french fries and serving customers to gain the support of workers. “I love this job,” Trump remarked as he rolled up his sleeves, tying an apron over his dress shirt after removing his suit jacket.
However, Trump expressed skepticism regarding Harris’s claim that she worked at a fast-food restaurant during her youth.
Meanwhile, in Georgia, Harris held a campaign event at a local church, coinciding with her 60th birthday celebration. The event featured a special appearance by legendary blind singer Stevie Wonder, who sang a birthday song for her. During her speech, Harris encouraged voters to turn out in droves to make their voices heard.
